    On the eve of his retirement, professor Seymour Mann is asked to deliver a prestigious lecture on his life’s work.  While writing, he is interrupted by a telemarketer’s phone call that changes the courses of both of their lives.  A comedy that dares to raise questions about the nature of charity and the true meaning of a “life well lived.”

    This inaugural fundraising Dinner Cruise aboard the Island Star will feature a 3 course menu, silent auction and dancing for a memorable evening.

    This is a Black and White formal attire affair.  Tickets are $100 per person and space is limited.

  • Whiskey Tasting Dinner Cruise - Proceeds to the Kingston Symphony (2010-09-24)

     

    Step aboard our dining ship, the Island Star, guests are treated to a 3-course dinner meal with a choice of five different entrees prepared on board.

    The host for sampling fine whiskey will be David Notman. David was the co-founder of MALT reviously An Quaich, an association of single malt whisky lovers, which has been meeting in Kingston for more than 12 years. He will share his knowledge of single malt whisky, and separate the truths from the myths surrounding this most excellent spirit.

    Cost per person is $90.  $25 from each ticket will be donated to the Kingston Symphony.

  • Diabetes Fundraising Cruise (2010-10-01)

     

    The Canadian Diabetes Association and Kingston 1000 Islands Cruises invite you to an evening dinner cruise on the Islands Star.  $25 from each ticket sold will be donated to the Association. 

    The evening will include a 3 course dinner, silent auction and live entertainment by Billy Bridger...and friends.

    Cost $75 per per ($25 to the Diabetes Association).
