As far in advance as possible. Reservations can be made right up to the day of the cruise, provided there is space available, but many departures sell out days or weeks ahead. We recommend calling as early as you can to inquire, especially for cruises on holiday weekends and for popular special events.
Call (613) 549-5544 or 1-800-848-0011 to book with a member of our reservations team, or use our online reservation system at www.ktic.ca/reserve. Online reservations show the same availability that our phone agents use.
Cancellation Policy: Tickets are non-refundable, unless Ticket Assurance has been purchased/added to your reservation at the time of booking. See below for further details. Gift Certificates are non-refundable once purchased.
Ticket Assurance: If you would like added flexibility and the option to receive a refund, you can purchase Ticket Assurance for Cruise ($10 per guest) and Trolley ($5 per guest) reservations at the time of booking. Reservations with Ticket Assurance are refundable up to 3 hours before your cruise or tour boarding time.

At our Ticket Offices: We accept Credit, Interac Debit and Cash.
On the boat:
Kingston 1000 Islands Cruises sail entirely in Canadian waters, so no passport is required for any of our cruises.
All members of your party must be present at the cruise or tour departure point with tickets in hand for the boarding time indicated on your confirmation document.
Priority Boarding: Is available for purchase ($5 per guest) on Sightseeing Cruises departing between Victoria Day and the Thanksgiving weekend. Sightseeing cruises offer first-come, first-served seating on board. Priority Boarding can be added to your reservation at time of booking, or at a later date, subject to availability.
Some guests like to sit indoors, while others prefer to be out in the fresh air on a sunny day! Where would you like to be? Choose Priority Boarding to join a dedicated line guaranteed to board first, allowing you a greater chance to choose where you’d like to sit before space fills up.
Please note: only a limited number of Priority Boarding tickets are available for each departure. Seats are not assigned or held. If you leave your seat during the cruise, it may be taken when you return.
Parking for cars is not provided on site, but is available at several downtown Kingston city lots all within walking distance to our dock (parking fees are extra). Please allow extra time for parking. We recommend the City of Kingston Parking lots nearby, which are the best value. The Hanson Memorial Parking Garage at 105 Brock St. is the closest and most convenient lot to our location.

Pets, including dogs, are not permitted on board any Kingston 1000 Islands Cruises vessel.
Service animals which have been professionally trained to work or perform tasks to assist a person with a disability are welcome onboard. The service animal must be a working service animal which has received professional training to remain calm and continue assisting its owner in a busy public transportation setting, including in an emergency situation involving loud sounds.
Outside food and drink cannot be brought onboard any Kingston 1000 Islands Cruises vessel.
This requirement is strictly enforced: any person approaching the vessel gangway with food items will be refused boarding by the ship’s crew. Dining cruises are available, and all sightseeing cruises have an onboard canteen offering snacks and drinks for purchase. Please note our onboard canteen is cashless and accepts Credit and Interact Debit.
Tickets for Brunch, Lunch and Dinner cruises include the 3-hour, 1000 Islands cruise experience and a freshly prepared three-course meal served at your reserved table on board. Each meal features an appetizer, your choice of main course, and a chef’s choice dessert. Tea, coffee, and a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are available for purchase during your cruise, with drinks billed separately at the end of your experience. Sightseeing cruise tickets do not include a meal.
All of our menus are prepared fresh, in-house. We offer Brunch, Lunch and Dinner cruises. Vegan and Halal options are available. Please let us know in advance if you have allergy concerns or dietary restrictions. When booking online, list your request in the notes space provided under ‘Additional Information’. When booking by phone or in person, let our staff know so we can make note. We cannot guarantee dietary accommodations if we have not been notified at least 24-hours in advance.
All three hour cruises and dining events feature live entertainment. The music and entertainment shows provided are as varied as the performers themselves, however all include familiar music from Jazz, Rythym & Blues, Pop, Folk and Soft Rock music genres. The entertainer is often the host of the event and also provides the commentary, telling the stories of the sites and the region. During our main season, we offer special event nights with themed music on Thursdays and live music nights on our dockside patio.
Kingston 1000 Islands Cruises is committed to maintaining a non-smoking environment for our staff and guests, in accordance with the City of Kingston’s smoke free Kingston bylaw. Smoking is not permitted anywhere aboard our vessels or in our boarding lineups.
Ticket prices do not include gratuities. Gratuities are at your discretion. In support of our service team, we kindly ask you to consider the combined value of your onboard and advanced meal purchases when offering a gratuity.
Yes. All of our boats have washrooms onboard, however accessibility and size varies for each vessel. See Accessibility for more details.
